COLOUR CORRECTION
Janice Grieves is a highly qualified colour specialist and has trained with many different companies over the years. She is a qualified to coach in the art of colouring and corrective treatments which  helps to ensure all of the staff at Hairport are operating to the NVQ standards. All of the corrective work is the result of  insufficient product knowledge, whether it be by a hairdresser or home use of chemist products. Colour correction is a highly specialised area of hairdressing and carried out properly can save the hair from further damage. The WORST thing to do is put another colour on top of an accident  unless you  know exactly what reaction and result to expect.
At Hairport we use GOLDWELL, KADUS and MATRIX for our colour work and have in-salon training from all companies regularly to keep up with new products and developments.

YUKO SYSTEM
We have been operating the YUKO SYSTEM since 2002 when it first came to the UK. We have had clients from all over the North of England and Scotland travelling to us for this service which was only available to the rich and famous until recently. WEDDINGS

Your wedding day will be one of the most memorable days of your life. The key to any successful event is planning and preparation.  

On your special day you need to look your absolute best, the earlier you start planning your hair & make-up, the more options you will have available.

Have you chosen your dress yet, the style may influence your choice of hair style, is it on or off the shoulder? Is it traditional, contemporary, modern, flouncy or fitted? If it is in a magazine or on-line bring the picture with you if possible.

Condition, do you need to have a course of conditioning treatments or facials?

Length of hair, is it long enough for the style you want, will it grow in time, would a hair enhancement help?

Colour, is your hair the perfect colour, have you had your make-up colour matched?

In order to meet your exact requirements on your special day, we recommend a full consultation and trial. We can then help you plan your cut, colour and conditioning treatments, if your hair is not going to be long enough for the style you dream of, don’t worry, we can supply hair enhancements which are easily removed and no-one will ever know if you don’t want them to.

It should be fun planning your wedding, let us look after your personal image and take you can look after the rest. We can even fix up the groom next door at Runway if you really want the best photo’s of the day.

We also work closely with Pink Tulip who can capture the whole day without being intrusive. They specialise in bespoke wedding and portfolio photography. You could even have your own wedding website with a diary of the day, current events, sections about the families, bridesmaids etc, this makes an accessable keepsake for all of those close to you, no matter how far away they are.
